Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ADCET Ashta, in association with E & ICT Academy, NIT Warangal, conducted the Faculty Development Program on Natural Language Processing and LLM from 28th February 2024 to 9 March 2024.
FDP Program had many eminent speakers from Industry, CDAC and Institutes of National Repute (IITs and NITs). 45 participants attended the FDP.
Key Topics covered: Langauge Modeling, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Vector Databases, Intelligent Chatbots, Transformers, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering and Case Studies.
Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted the DIQAC Meeting today in online mode on 9th March 2024.
Experts Mr. Yameen Hakim, CoFounder DecodeMeta, Dr. T. I. Bagban, Associate Professor, DKTE Ichalkaranji, Ms. Anuprit Jadhav, Senior Software Engineer, E-Infochips and all faculties of Department of Computer Science and Engineering attended the meeting.
Key Points discussed: Activity based assessment practices, TY Curriculum for NEP, Placement scenario and how to make student market ready, Revision in PEO Statement of the program.
An Embedded System & Robotics Lab in association with IIT-Bombay has been inaugurated in the computer science and engineering department, ADCET, Ashta, on 16th Feb 2024. Under e-Yantra Lab Set-up Initiative (eLSI). This is an initiative to train teachers and institutions by establishing a culture of “Project Based Learning” and solving real problems using technology hosted in a physical lab.
e-Yantra is a robotics outreach program funded by the Ministry of Education and hosted at IIT Bombay. The goal is to harness the talent of young engineers to solve problems using technology across a variety of domains such as: agriculture, manufacturing, defense, home, smart-city maintenance, and service industries.
The laboratory inauguration was carried by opening the signage board by the auspicious hands of our Executive Director, Hon. Rafik A. Kanai, Director Dr. Vikram S. Patil in the presence of Dr. Laxman Y. Waghmode and Dr. Suhel S. Sayyad, HOD-CSE department, Prof. Ajit Pradnyawant, team leader, and other faculty members. The entire inauguration was hosted online through which dignitary from IIT-Bombay Professor Kavi Arya attended the inauguration.

Industrial Visit to Infosys of Pre Final Year Students - Computer Science and Engineering Department. This visit proved a great learning experience to prefinal year students and provided them very good insights about Infosys. Visit was coordinated by Mr. YogeshLubal and Mr. Suhel Sayyad.
