Dr. Madhav J. Salunkhe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (IOT and CSBT) at Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology. In addition to his research, Dr. Madhav Salunkhe is an experienced educator with a passion for mentoring students. He has held various teaching and research positions at renowned institutions and has been involved in numerous academic and professional activities.

Dr. Madhav Salunkhe’s expertise, research accomplishments, and commitment to teaching and mentorship make him a valuable asset to the academic community.

About Institution's Innovation Council (IIC)

Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India has established the MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC) to systematically foster the culture of innovation among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The primary objective of MIC is to encourage, inspire, and nurture young students by supporting them in transforming innovative ideas into prototypes during their academic journey. To achieve this vision, MIC promotes the establishment of Institution's Innovation Councils (IICs) across HEIs, creating a strong innovation ecosystem that encourages entrepreneurship, creativity, research, and startup culture on campus.

Major Focus of IIC

  • To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem and start-up supporting mechanism in the institute.
  • Prepare institute for Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) Framework.
  • Establish functional ecosystem for scouting innovative ideas and pre-incubation of ideas.
  • Develop better cognitive ability among technology students.

Functions of IIC

  • To conduct various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by the Central MIC in a time-bound manner.
  • Identify and reward innovations and share success stories.
  • Organize periodic workshops, seminars, and interactions with entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, and create a mentor pool for student innovators.
  • Network with peer institutions and national entrepreneurship development organizations.
  • Create an Institution's Innovation Portal to showcase innovative projects developed by faculty members and students.
  • Organize hackathons, idea competitions, mini-challenges, and similar innovation activities in collaboration with industries.
