The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is committed to providing quality technical education by blending strong theoretical knowledge with practical skills, innovation, and professional ethics. The department strives to develop competent engineers capable of addressing real-world challenges in the rapidly evolving fields of electronics, communication, embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, signal processing, wireless communication, and semiconductor technologies.
Established with the vision of creating technically proficient and socially responsible engineers, the department offers a learner-centric environment supported by experienced faculty members, modern laboratories, industry interaction, and research-oriented activities. The curriculum is designed in accordance with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles, ensuring that students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required by industry and higher education.
The department is equipped with well-established laboratories including Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, Communication Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering, Optical Communication, VLSI Design, Internet of Things (IoT), MATLAB Simulation, and Project Laboratories. These laboratories provide students with extensive hands-on experience using modern instruments, simulation software, and development platforms.
The department strongly believes in holistic student development. Along with technical education, students are encouraged to develop leadership qualities, communication skills, teamwork, ethical values, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning habits. Various professional society activities, technical clubs, coding groups, innovation cells, and entrepreneurship development programs provide excellent platforms for overall personality development
